When I went for vaccinations at the local clinic, the woman tried to sell me all sorts of different things after I got my vaccinations and malaria pills. I bought a water bottle that filters your water and bug spray because it would avoid me a trip to the store. But then she asked me if I would have bathrooms where I'm going. I tell her I will be staying at a hotel. She said she asks because she has something for peeing in the woods.
It's called Go Girl. According to the site, it's a "female urination device" that helps you pee while standing. But the lady trying to sell me this thing says it's "like a female penis," and then she proceeds to take the pink/purple device out of the box and demonstrate how you would use it by putting it against her crotch. "You can pee in the woods without making a mess. The best thing is that you can wash it," she says. I tell her politely that I won't be needing one. She goes on to tell me how she is taking one with her to South Carolina and Cancun.
Flabbergasted by the product demo, I tell her I need to return to the office.
So there you go, ladies. I've informed you of something that might be useful on one of your trips.
