Today, I did the unTHINKable. I wrote a post over a year ago about how I left Budget. But today, I reserved a rental for Budget because Hertz was going to charge me more than twice as much for a last minute rental. That's what I get for reserving last minute.
I feel a little guilty for being so easily swayed, but at least I punished Budget for their poor customer service for one whole year, and I'm coming in to SFO in the morning, not at night, so I get to avoid their night counter person. It's 12:30AM, and I should go to bed... so instead of doing any more research, I just booked with Budget because I still have my Fastbreak number memorized, the account is all set-up, and it was easy. Can't blame me, right? I hope they AT LEAST give me a decent car. I've been so happy with my Hertz rentals lately.... I can't think to drive an HHR or a Chevy Cobalt.
