A little gem in Salt Lake City is the Leonardo in Liberty Square: http://www.theleonardo.org/. Just opened days ago at a new location in the old Salt Lake City Library. Cool interactive exhibits, and a panoramic view of mountains surrounding Salt Lake City.
Another gem... more like a lavishly ornate diamond brooch... The Grand America Hotel across the street from Little America. Kind of over the top fancy and a surprise in Salt Lake City. There was a room for my toilet, a room for my sink, a room for my bath, an a walk-in closet... And that's just in the bathroom space. I had a bedroom area with a sitting area. This was for the $259 rate standard room. Was asked if I wanted an upgrade to the suite, which I declined, but now I'm curious to know what a suite is like!
