OH HOW WONDERFUL IT IS COMMUTING THIS WEEK!

I guess EVERYONE takes this week off. Never really knew it because my busiest time of the year at my last job was during the holidays. I flew out to Vegas for a month starting the day after Christmas and celebrated New Years there. Worked the entire time. This year, I got Monday and Tuesday off, but decided I would try to get a lot done during the quiet days, but I'm finding it TOO quiet. Plus, no one responds to my emails TT.

However, commuting is GREAT. 30 minutes. And there are no cars in the parking lot so I get sweet spots. Plus, I don't really need a coat - it's pretty warm, and I take the bus to the subway and come up an exit within my building, so I don't even have to walk outside. And I'm so glad I don't work near Times Square anymore - I avoid all of the tourist traffic too :)

But, I know this won't last. The coldest months of winter lie ahead - Jan, Feb - and it's been 4 years since I've commuted to the city during those months. I'll write what I think about commuting then.
